Are you a fan of my work?

I'm excited to partner with you!

Since 2015, I have produced content dedicated to independent reporting and explanation videos about Bridges, Dams, and Common Sense.

Since then, the channel has evolved to be a voice for an often overlooked and under-supported aspect of our infrastructure: hydropower and our Pacific Northwest inland waterway.

Recent events in Washington DC have made these issues all the more urgent. There has been a vacuum of fact-based reporting and storytelling on this subject for several decades, and I am in a prime position to fill that content void.

I am looking for partners who are willing to support the channel through monthly memberships. By creating a regular funding stream, my team and I are able to devote more professional resources towards a project that, up until this point, has been 100% self-funded. I have many years of videos online that show my passion for the subject matter and mastery of the relevant science and engineering. Today, I'm asking for your help to take it to the next level.

Every week, I run into strangers and new friends who have seen my videos and enjoy the perspective that I share on this often-overlooked subject. Many of you have offered to buy me a beer, grab lunch, or even take a tour of the dam, power plant, or depot that you serve. While I may not be able to say yes to every invitation, I can accept your thanks through monthly subscriptions that help keep this series moving forward.

The honest truth is that there are certain large entities that have a vested interest in keeping our energy system clean and keeping our rivers working. The growers, distributors, and operators who keep our inland waterway moving are often too busy to focus on lobbying congress. And the groups who should be focusing on this issue may or may not be doing a sufficient job.
